Registries of almost 1,100 flats approved

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) certification exam was taken on Saturday by 423 real estate agents from all around the state.

According to a representative of MahaRERA, this is the state's first examination for real estate agent certification.

Before September 1st, all 39,000 MahaRERA-registered agents as well as those who are not registered must obtain the MahaRERA certification in order to practise as real estate agents.

On January 10 of this year, the MahaRERA issued a circular requiring real estate brokers to complete formal training and receive certification.
