Manglam Group Plans Rs.1,000 Crore Hospitality Push
With over 70 completed real estate projects, Manglam Group is prioritizing greenfield projects over acquiring existing properties. The company targets high-growth segments, including destination weddings, leisure travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
Following the announcement of the Westin Jaipur Resort, a 150-room luxury property on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Manglam Group has begun work on a second hospitality project in Jagatpura, Jaipur. This 200-room luxury hotel, part of a mixed-use development, marks its first collaboration with an international hotel brand.
The expansion includes luxury resorts tailored for high-end weddings, tapping into Rajasthan’s reputation as India’s top wedding destination. The Indian wedding industry is valued at $130 billion and growing at 13–15% annually. Meanwhile, India’s $4.5 billion MICE industry offers opportunities for premium accommodations and conference facilities.
Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group, said, “Our Rs 1 billion hospitality investment is a strategic step to redefine Rajasthan’s tourism industry. The demand for luxury experiences is at an all-time high, and Manglam Group is committed to meeting this evolving market.”
The group is exploring opportunities beyond Jaipur, including other parts of Rajasthan and Goa, aiming to establish itself as a key player in India’s luxury hospitality sector.
