DDA housing scheme 2024: Over 1200 LIG flats sold out

Over 1,200 LIG and 440 EWS flats were sold in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA)'s Sasta Ghar and Madhyam Vargiya Housing schemes, according to an official statement released on Saturday. In Ramgarh, 153 out of the 183 LIG flats on offer were sold, while in Rohini, 708 LIG flats were booked, and approximately 250 were sold in Narela.

In the EWS category, around 300 flats were sold in Narela, and all 139 flats available in Loknayakpuram were booked. The scheme, which opened for booking on 10th September, received an overwhelming response, with all HIG flats at Jasola being sold on the first day.

Flats in Dwarka also witnessed high demand, with one penthouse, three super HIG, 18 HIG, and a significant number of MIG flats being sold through bidding. The demand was evident, as approximately 2,000 people deposited the EMDs for 169 flats, with bidding driving prices well above the reserve price.

The housing schemes were launched under the leadership of Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena, who has been personally overseeing and monitoring the progress, the statement added.
