TKIL's Hyderabad Manufacturing Plant Achieves Five-Star Grading
The Hyderabad manufacturing plant, operational since 1988, specialises in fabricating equipment for core industries, including sugar plants and machinery, mining and bulk material handling systems, cement plants and machinery, boilers, and power plants. With a workforce of approximately 720 employees, including contract workers, the facility also executes turnkey EPC projects.
The company’s Manufacturing Plant in Hyderabad underwent a comprehensive, quantified and robust evaluation of its occupational health and safety policies, processes and practices. The audit involved an extensive review of documentation, interviews with senior management and employees, and on-site evaluations. Performance was assessed against key best-practice indicators, including leadership and commitment, stakeholder engagement, risk management, organisational safety culture, and continual improvement. The evaluation encompassed nearly 50 components of health and safety management.
After a rigorous evaluation, TKIL Industries was awarded a five-star grading following the audit which is reflective of a best practice organisation. Mike Robinson, CEO British Safety Council, said: “The award of a five-star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement and is reflective of a proactive organisation which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and wellbeing.”
