Sany unveils SSR80 Road & Parking Soil Compactor
Among its standard features are dual amplitude and frequency settings, a single-lever control for both travel and vibration, a limited slip differential, a steel sun canopy with a fan, a Danfoss hydraulic motor, a full-color LCD screen with diagnostic capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging, a cupholder, and an LED work light package.
The canopy of the roller is certified with ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and includes a suspension seat, offering the operator an unobstructed line of vision. The steering wheel is adjustable and can be tilted to suit the operator's preferences.
Sany has enhanced the roller's centrifugal force to boost productivity and improved ground clearance for better mobility. Conveniently, daily fluid refills can be performed at ground level.
In terms of performance, the SSR80 can achieve a maximum travel speed of 6 mph, with a vibratory system delivering a frequency range of 29.5 / 33.4 Hz and an amplitude of 1.9 / 1.2 millimeters. The roller exhibits a gradeability of 50% with a smooth drum and 40% with a padfoot. The operator's sound level is measured at 76.9 decibels.
Sany stated that these enhancements and features aim to make the SSR80 roller a highly productive and operator-friendly machine for soil compaction tasks.
