Wattsun Energy gets 1 MW, Enerture Tech wins 2 MW ANERT solar bids
Solar panels have already been installed in a hundred buildings.
As part of the announced series of tenders, Wattsun Energy and Enerture Technologies have secured capacities of 1 MW and 2 MW, respectively, and emerged as the lowest bidders in the competitive bidding process.
Wattsun offered a quote of Rs 51,000 per kW, while Enerture Titanium offered a quote of Rs 48,490 per kW. The estimated cost for the 1 MW tender is over Rs 50 million, while for the 2 MW tender, it amounts to 90.75 million. In the 2 MW tender, 1.5 MW will be allocated for ground-mounted solar panels, while the remaining 0.5 MW will be dedicated to rooftop solar panels.
The 2 MW project will be implemented at HLL Lifecare, while the 2 MW project will be established at Travancore Titanium.
Previously, ANERT issued a Request for Selection (RFS) for an agency to implement a 2 MW solar power plant at Travancore Titanium Products, Kochuveli, Thiruvananthapuram, as part of the Solar City Project funded by Smart City Thiruvananthapuram.
