Tata Projects and Grundfos ink pact for water, environment projects

Denmark-based pump producer Grundfos has inked a memorandum of understanding with Tata Projects to collaborate and explore projects in sustainability, environment and water.

As per the statement given by the company, it revealed innovative drinking water and dispensing solutions in New Delhi. The solution comprises intelligent pumps that control a membrane treatment system and a dispenser that renders clean and safe drinking water.

The MoU with Tata Projects would be done via cooperation and joint ventures in technology, identification of market and joint business development. Additionally, it was aligned to the ongoing green strategic partnership between Denmark and India.

Denmark Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Danish Ambassador Freddy Svane were present during the MoU signing between Grundfos and Tata Projects.

Grundfos group executive vice president and COO Stephane Simonetta told the media that Grundfos is proud to be partnering with Tata projects to produce innovative and green solutions to address India's water and environmental difficulties. With Tata Projects' expertise in water and waste-water management solutions in the nation and their intelligent solutions, this partnership has the potential to grow India's water security.

The MoU was a good example of how sustainable technology and collaboration can assist in strengthening the 'Green Strategic Partnership' between Denmark and India. This mutually advantageous agreement allows Denmark to provide sustainable solutions to India that would benefit both nations, Svane said.

Tata Projects, COO, Urban Infrastructure, Rahul Shah told the media that while this solution is rendering clean water to their construction staff and workers, they see a potential to increase the reach of this type of solution to communities that require decentralised drinking water solutions.
