Sterlite Power's Goa-Tamnar Project Completed

Sterlite Power announced the successful completion of the Goa-Tamnar Transmission Project, which will provide a stable power supply to South Goa. The project, implemented through its Special Purpose Vehicle Goa-Tamnar Transmission Project Ltd (GTTPL), introduces Goa's first 400 kV Gas-Insulated Substation (GIS) at Dharbandora.

This substation will deliver high-quality power at 400 kV to South Goa, marking a significant advancement in the state’s power infrastructure. Arun Sharma, CEO of Sterlite Power’s Infrastructure Business, highlighted the project’s importance in strengthening Goa’s power system by addressing critical gaps and incorporating advanced technology for a more reliable and sustainable power supply for both residents and businesses.
