JSW Energy Signs 25-Year PPA with WBSEDCL for 1,600 MW Plant

Utkal Thermal Power Plant Achieves Milestone JSW Energy has successfully commissioned Unit-2 of the Utkal Thermal Power Plant (700 MW).
The plant uses domestic coal and sells power via the merchant market and bilateral contracts. The commissioning comes ahead of the upcoming high-demand season, ensuring a reliable base load power supply. Recent Acquisition The company recently acquired KSK Mahanadi Power Company, which operates a thermal plant in Chhattisgarh.
