Himachal Pradesh Seeks Bids for 8 MW Solar Projects
Interested bidders can apply for one or more projects separately. Successful bidders will need to use commercially established and operational technologies to minimize risks and ensure timely project completion. They must also comply with the Approved List of Modules and Manufacturers. Additionally, the selected bidders will be responsible for overseeing the projects' operation and maintenance for 25 years.
Projects must be commissioned within six months of signing the power purchase agreement. For the Kunihar project, bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 673,686 and provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG) of Rs 6.74 million. They must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects of at least 900 kW capacity, with at least two projects of 180 kW each completed in the past seven years. Additionally, bidders need to have a minimum net worth of Rs 6.74 million in the previous year and an average annual turnover of Rs 11.31 million over the past three years.
For the Nalagarh project, bidders must furnish an EMD of Rs 2.13 million and a PBG of Rs 21.33 million. They must have completed projects with a minimum capacity of 2.85 MW, including at least two projects of 570 kW each in the last seven years. The minimum net worth required is Rs 21.33 million from the previous year, along with an average annual turnover of Rs 35.81 million over the past three years.
For the Mandi and Hamirpur projects, bidders need to submit an EMD of Rs 313,665 and a PBG of Rs 3.14 million. They must have executed projects with at least 415 kW capacity, including two projects of 83 kW each within the past seven years. The minimum net worth should be Rs 3.14 million from the previous year, with an average annual turnover of Rs 5.26 million over the last three years.
In July of the previous year, Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation had also invited bids for an 8 MW solar power project at Bada Basot in Solan.
