Covestro is delighted to confirm its participation in PU TECH India 2025, one of the leading trade fairs dedicated to the polyurethane industry. Scheduled to take place from 9th to 11th April at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida (near New Delhi), the event will bring together industry leaders to explore cutting-edge advancements in polyurethane products and process technologies.

At Hall N1, Booth A18, Covestro will unveil pioneering materials and solutions that align with its vision of a circular economy. Central to this vision is the pursuit of climate neutrality. The company has set bold targets to cut Scope 3 emissions by 30% by 2035, and to achieve full climate neutrality across all scopes by 2050—covering every phase from raw material procurement and production to transportation, product usage, and end-of-life management.

A highlight is Covestro’s sustainable footwear technology—mono-material sneakers made entirely of 100% recyclable TPU, enhanced with bio-based Desmopan® CQ. Covestro will present Baydur® polyurethane composite frames for photovoltaic modules, offering superior corrosion resistance and reduced carbon footprint—up to 85% lower than aluminium. Also featured is the Baypreg® STM battery cover for NEVs, achieving a 60% weight reduction versus steel, while improving insulation and corrosion resistance—clear markers of Covestro’s material innovation.
