CM Yogi Inaugurates Avaada Group's 1.5 GW Solar Plant in Noida

Avaada Electro has initiated the development of a 5 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility at Ecotech, Greater Noida. This project marks a major milestone in the company’s expansion in renewable energy manufacturing.

Additionally, Avaada Group has established a 1.5 GW photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing unit in Dadri, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable innovation. The first phase of the gigafactory was completed in a record time of 3.5 months, with full commissioning of utilities and module production lines.

The facility focuses on manufacturing TOPCon N-Type bifacial glass-to-glass PV modules, incorporating advanced multi-busbar configurations ranging from 16 to 24 bus bars to enhance efficiency. It also supports M10 and G12 cell production, with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW for M10 modules and 1.5 GW for G12 modules. The plant currently manufactures 5,800 modules daily, ensuring stringent quality checks for reliability and performance.

Avaada’s upcoming 5 GW integrated solar module manufacturing facility in Greater Noida is set to boost India’s self-reliance in solar manufacturing. Spanning over 50 acres in Ecotech-16, the facility will produce high-efficiency TOPCon N-Type solar cells on an industrial scale.

The project represents a significant investment in India's renewable energy sector and is expected to generate over 3,000 jobs. It will also adhere to international quality standards, obtaining certifications such as BIS, IEC, and UL.

The initiative aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s growing role in India's renewable energy transformation, contributing to employment generation and economic growth. Avaada Group remains focused on building a robust and globally competitive solar supply chain.
