CIL invites bids for 300 MW solar project in Gujarat

Coal India Limited (CIL) has issued a call for bids to develop a major 300 MW solar power project in Gujarat. This initiative is part of CIL?s broader strategy to diversify its energy portfolio and contribute to India?s renewable energy goals.

The project, which aims to harness solar power to support sustainable energy production, reflects the growing emphasis on clean energy sources within the country. The successful bidder will be responsible for the design, installation, and operational management of the solar facilities.

This move aligns with India?s commitment to expanding its renewable energy capacity and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The 300 MW project is expected to play a significant role in meeting the country?s renewable energy targets and bolstering the grid with cleaner power sources.
