Bhatti launches 10.5 MW solar facility

The inauguration of a 10.5-megawatt (MW) solar power plant by the Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) at Ramavaram in Kothagudem was conducted by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. It was mentioned that the 10.5 MW solar power plant was expected to generate 16 million units of electricity annually. Additionally, it was revealed that the plant had been established in 48 acres of land, incurring a cost of Rs 560 million.

The event was attended by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, and other dignitaries. Solar technology is constantly improving, due to which our capacity for the abundant use of solar energy is increasing. According to a report by the International Energy Agency, the use of solar energy has increased rapidly and the growth of solar energy is higher than all other fuels. The day is not far when we will all be able to unite and enjoy the power and other benefits produced from solar energy.
