Alpex, TP Solar Win SECI’s 400 MW Auction
Alpex secured 97.5 MW, while TP Solar won 292.5 MW at a bid value of Rs 21.61 million per MW. The modules will be supplied to a project site in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. SECI retains the right to adjust the capacity by ±10% at the same price and terms. Additionally, it may place a repeat order for up to 100% of the awarded capacity within six months.
The modules, including mandatory spares, will be delivered in staggered shipments over nine months. The tender requires suppliers to provide mono and bifacial crystalline technology modules.
Last year, Swelect Energy Systems, Grew Energy, and ReNew Photovoltaics won a similar 400 MW module supply auction. Meanwhile, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy recently updated its Approved List of Models and Manufacturers, adding 3,015 MW of new capacity, bringing India’s total module manufacturing capacity to 67,401 MW.
