Adani forms manufacturing company for wind turbine generators

Adani Enterprises (AEL) has announced the formation of a wholly-owned subsidiary firm, Mundra Windtech, dedicated to the production of wind turbine generators.

The business subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Adani Group said in a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing that on June 7, 2021, it formed a wholly-owned subsidiary called Mundra Windtech (MWL). The subsidiary company is yet to begin business operations.

The firm has been created to carry on business as manufacturers of wind turbine generators and other auxiliaries, according to the aims and effects of acquisition/incorporation for the acquisition of MWL.

According to AEL, MWL is a company incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

On the BSE, AEL was trading at Rs 1,629.85 per piece, down Rs 6.40 or 0.39% from its previous close of Rs 1,636.25. AEL is the first company in India to synchronise supercritical technology.
