Adani Total Gas Launches CBG Production
The plant employs advanced anaerobic digestion technology to convert organic materials into renewable biogas, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on fossil fuels. This sustainable approach supports India's goals for fuel security and emission reduction. With a total investment exceeding Rs 200 crore (approximately $24 million), the facility is poised to become India's largest agri-waste-based bio-CNG plant.
Adani Total Gas, a joint venture between Adani Group and TotalEnergies, underscores its commitment to sustainability through this project. Suresh P Manglani, CEO of Adani Total Gas, highlighted the dual benefits of producing CBG and high-quality organic fertiliser, contributing to agricultural sustainability and a circular economy.
