JK Cement net profit rises 67% to Rs 1.84 billion for Q1

JK Cement Ltd reported a 67% increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 1.84 billion for the first quarter ending June 2024. This compares to a profit of Rs 1.10 billon in the same period last year, as per a regulatory filing by the company.

Revenue from operations grew by 1.62%, totalling Rs 28.07 billion for the quarter, up from Rs 27.62 billion a year ago. Meanwhile, total expenses remained steady at Rs 25.79 billion.
