Vibrant Energy plans 198 MW wind farm for Amazon in Maharashtra


Vibrant Energy announced that it would establish a 198-megawatt (MW) wind farm project for e-commerce giant Amazon in Maharashtra. According to a statement released by Vibrant, a power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed with Amazon for this purpose.

It was mentioned by the company that this marks the third PPA with Amazon.

The project, located in Osmanabad, Maharashtra, is anticipated to generate 6,97,261 MWh of energy annually and is expected to offset 4,94,137 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

Vibrant stated that the project is progressing as planned and is set to be operational by early 2025.
