Vibrant Energy and UltraTech Cement partner for green power
Vibrant Energy, a leading corporate renewable energy solutions provider, has entered into agreements to supply 21.60 MW of wind power through projects in Maharashtra. This eco-friendly energy will be harnessed to power multiple facilities owned by UltraTech Cement in the state.
Srinivasan Viswanathan, CEO of Vibrant Energy, expressed enthusiasm about their collaboration with UltraTech, emphasising its potential to expedite UltraTech's transition towards green energy. He stated that this partnership signifies a pivotal step towards a sustainable and carbon-neutral future, with the potential to inspire similar transformations in other energy-intensive industries.
The Wind projects are expected to generate approximately 72 million units of green power annually. This substantial contribution to green energy will significantly aid UltraTech Cement in reducing its carbon footprint and achieving its sustainability targets.
