UP Roadways to Operate 120 Electric Buses in NCR

Uttar Pradesh Roadways is set to enhance its public transport network by introducing 120 electric buses across the National Capital Region (NCR) cities. This initiative aims to improve urban mobility while significantly reducing carbon emissions.

The deployment of these electric buses reflects a commitment to sustainable transport solutions and aligns with the growing emphasis on green technology in public transportation. By integrating electric vehicles into its fleet, UP Roadways is addressing the need for cleaner and more efficient urban transport options.

These electric buses are expected to contribute to reducing air pollution and offer a quieter, more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diesel-powered buses. The introduction of these buses is anticipated to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of public transportation in the NCR region, providing residents with a more sustainable commuting option and furthering the goals of environmental conservation.
