Concrete equipment sales saw a growth of 11 per cent in Q1 of FY25, touching sales of 3,199 units, according to ICEMA. Among concrete transit mixers, stationary concrete pumps, batching plants, self-loading concrete mixers, boom pumps, mobile line pumps, fixed-form pavers and shotcrete equipment, transit mixers and self-loading mixers accounted for 57 per cent of the growth.

While the uptake of transit mixers is increasing, certain gaps in their availability set the industry back.
