Telangana DISCOM Floats Tenders for 3 MW Solar Power Projects
Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana (TGNPDCL) has issued two tenders for 3 MW ground-mounted solar power projects in Karimnagar and Sircilla districts. The last date to submit bids for both tenders is December 12, 2024. Bids will be opened on December 13, 2024.
The project must be completed within six months. Bidders must pay a bid security of 2% of the bid amount. Bidders must pay a transaction fee of 0.03% on estimated contract value (ECV) up to Rs 500 million (~$5.91 million) plus GST.
In addition, the successful bidder must pay 0.04% of ECV with a cap of Rs 10,000 (~$118.371) as a corpus fund. The scope of work involves the supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the projects on a 100% turnkey basis.
The operation and maintenance contract will be for five years. Bidders must supply half-cut mono PERC cells. The module efficiency must be ? 20.9 % and provide a warranty for at least 12 years.
The bidder must quote and have the bid capacity not less than the ECV or value of work put to tender. The 1 MW project will be located in Waterworks in Karimnagar district. The bidders must be empaneled vendors of Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (REDCO)/ TGNPDCL with a minimum experience of 0.50 MW cumulative capacity of solar projects installed at government buildings/subsidy schemes in the last three financial years. Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ?30 million (~$355,113) in at least one of the last three financial years.
The 2 MW project will be located in CESS Boinpally in Sircilla district. Bidders must be empaneled vendors of REDCO/ TGNPDCL with a minimum experience of 1 MW cumulative capacity of solar projects installed at government buildings/subsidy programs in the last three financial years. Bidders must have a minimum annual turnover of ?60 million (~$710,226) in at least one of the last three financial years.
In June 2024, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam invited bids from empaneled contractors to install 1,562 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects in Telangana for the Indian Council of Medical Research.
