Suzlon Group's Q1 PAT reaches Rs 3.02 billion


Suzlon Group announced that its profit after tax (PAT) nearly tripled to Rs 3.02 billion for the June quarter, driven by increased revenues. This marks a significant rise from the Rs 1.01 billion PAT recorded in the same period last year, according to the company's statement.

The company's revenues also saw a substantial increase, rising to Rs 20.16 billion from Rs 13.48 billion in the year-ago quarter. "Our largest-ever order book of 3.8 GW gives us great visibility for the future," stated Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group.

As of June 30, 2024, the company had a net cash position of Rs 11.97 billion. Pune-based Suzlon Group, a leading global renewable energy solutions provider, has installed 20.8 GW of wind energy capacity across 17 countries.

In the first quarter of FY25, Suzlon delivered 274 MW of wind turbine equipment, compared to 135 MW in the April-June period of 2023.
