SUN Mobility and Bluwheelz to Deploy 16,000 EVs

Battery-swapping solutions provider SUN Mobility has joined forces with electric vehicle fleet operator Bluwheelz to deploy more than 16,000 electric vehicles (EVs) within the next 12 months. The partnership aims to introduce over 15,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,000 electric three-wheelers in metropolitan cities and retrofit more than 1,000 existing four-wheeler loader fleets into electric vehicles over the same period.

SUN Mobility CEO Anant Badjatya mentioned that they are currently performing over 1 million swaps per month, and partnerships like the one with Bluwheelz will enable more people to choose sustainable transportation, contributing to cleaner and more livable cities.

Bluwheelz Chairman Sanjiv Gupta emphasised the collaboration's alignment with their mission to promote sustainability and eco-friendliness in mid-mile and last-mile logistics.

Deployment has already begun in Delhi, with nearly 500 vehicles on the roads, and operations will commence in Bangalore and Hyderabad. SUN Mobility has a network of approximately 600 swap stations across India, offering Bluwheelz customers a seamless and convenient battery-swapping experience.
