SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN, has issued a tender for consultancy services to develop a comprehensive roadmap, prepare a detailed project report (DPR), and draft tender documents for the establishment of a 25 MW green hydrogen project in Assam. 

The project will incorporate advanced electrolysis-based technologies, powered by renewable energy. The tender is being released on behalf of SGEL Assam Renewable Energy, a joint venture between SGEL and Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL). 

Bids must be submitted by February 27, 2025, with bids opening on the same day. 

Bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 50,000 and a tender document fee of Rs 2,360, inclusive of 18% GST. 

The scope of work involves conducting technical studies, developing the roadmap, preparing the DPR, and assisting in drafting the project’s tender documents. 

Selected bidders will need to complete the assignment within three months from the award date. 

To qualify, bidders must have provided consultancy services for at least seven years as of the last day of the month. They must have completed one of the following: 

Bidders must also demonstrate an average annual turnover of Rs 5 million over the past three financial years. 

In December 2024, SJVN issued a request for selection for setting up a cumulative 18 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects across multiple states, including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and several others. Additionally, SJVN invited bids for the supply of 6 GWh of assured peak power from interstate transmission system-connected renewable energy projects with energy storage systems.
