SECI to install 25 kW green hydrogen-based pilot project in Leh
Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) declared the annulment of the request for proposal (RFP) to install a 25 kW green hydrogen-based pilot project at SNM hospital in Leh, Ladakh. The bid was issued in March this year for this project. The scope of work comprised establishing a 5 kW Green Hydrogen based project on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis and supply of heat, electricity, and oxygen utilising green hydrogen to the SNM Hospital. Jio-bp, fuels, and mobility joint venture (JV) between Reliance Industries and bp, entered into a contract with food delivery company Zomato. Jio-bp will deliver EV mobility assistance to Zomato and access to jio-bp pulse branded battery swapping stations for last-mile delivery under the contract. The partnership will support accelerating EV adoption in the growing Indian delivery and transportation sector. It will also support Zomato’s promise toward The Climate Group’s EV100 initiative of a 100% EV fleet by 2030. IREDA has sanctioned a cumulative amount of Rs 85.53 billion for 190 renewable energy project accounts in Gujarat. The agency has disbursed Rs 39.65 billion in Gujarat out of a cumulative loan disbursement of Rs 799.94 billion in the nation. IREDA approved Rs 15.13 billion and disbursed Rs 9.48 billion in the state last year, said Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, IREDA. The Consulate General of Montenegro in India declared that it had established a 10 kW elevated tilted rooftop solar system from Home Scape by distributed solar company Amplus Solar. The facility installation is a part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Home Scape by Amplus Solar and the consulate that emphasises taking collective action toward restricting climate change hazards in the EU area. The two-metre, steel-reinforced, terra-galvanised, and grid-connected solar plant has been developed for standard reinforced cement concrete (RCC) rooftops. The system employs 535 Wp monocrystalline solar modules by Adani Power, delivering a 25-year performance warranty.
