Schneider to increase India share in industrial automation to 25%


Schneider Electric plans to increase India's contribution to its global industrial automation business to 25% within the next few years, up from the current share of less than 10%, according to company executives.

Barbara Frei, Executive Vice President, Industrial Automation at Schneider Electric, expressed optimism that growth in India's water, transportation, mining, energy, and food and beverage sectors will drive higher demand for automation solutions. She noted that India's market is currently outpacing China's in terms of growth. (Business Standard)
