Rs 250 mn sanctioned for Parkal-Narlapur Road Expansion, Development


Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy has announced that the state government has approved a budget of Rs 250 million for the expansion and development of the Parkal-Narlapur road in the district. In an interview, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for swiftly allocating these funds. He highlighted the strong commitment of the BRS government to reinforce rural road infrastructure, underscoring the positive impact of well-constructed roads on overall state development.

Reddy explained that several roads have already been converted into dual-lane pathways, significantly improving connectivity. Noteworthy is the substantial allocation of Rs 610 million designated for the improvement of two additional roads within the Parkal constituency. He also assured that he would seek more funding for the expansion of various other roads.

Recalling a recent event, Reddy mentioned that Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod inaugurated the construction of a BT road connecting Chintapalli to VRN Thanda in the Sangem Mandal, as well as a BT road from Mummidivaram to VRN Thanda on June 25.
