RPP Infra Wins Rs 81 Cr Water Supply Contract in Chennai


RPP Infra Projects Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a Rs 81 crore contract from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The project, under the Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam initiative, aims to improve water supply infrastructure in Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes building underground water tanks, water distribution stations, and strengthening water infrastructure across multiple depots in areas IV and V.

The contract also includes stormwater drainage works in the Kovalam Basin under the KfW fund, benefiting streets in zone 15 of Greater Chennai Corporation. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months. Shares of RPP Infra rose 4.97 per cent following the announcement.
