RLDA invites bids to lease out 10,128 sq m land in Bengaluru
The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has floated an online tender for leasing a land parcel at Platform Road, Bangalore. The reserve price for the proposed land of 10,128 sq m is Rs 90 crore. The land is surrounded by residential colonies, including VV Giri Colony, Shastri Nagar, Lakshmanpuri and Jakkarayanakere. Apollo Hospital in Sheshadripuram is within 500 metre from the land along the Platform Road.. Chairman of RLDA, Ved Prakash Dudeja, said that the land parcel enjoys seamless connectivity to residential and commercial spaces. It is an ideal site for mixed-use development subject to the local bye-laws.The bidders will have the control to plan, organise and construct the development project.. RLDA has four major parts of development, including leasing out commercial sites, colony redevelopment, station redevelopment and multi-functional complexes.. In FY22, RLDA leased several sites, including Pulianthope in Chennai, Amravati and Aurangabad in Maharashtra, Asansol in West Bengal, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Ambari (Guwahati), etc. The Authority has also leased out three railway colonies, including Chilkalguda and Rifle-Range colonies in Secunderabad and Rajkot in Gujarat, for development in FY22..
