During the visit, Ramesh Verma, Deputy Secretary of the Logistics Division at the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), guided the delegation through the Experiential Centre. The centre showcases India's expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and economic growth strategies, with a strong focus on sustainability.
One of the highlights of the centre is the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, which connects industries such as agriculture, textiles, and manufacturing. This initiative benefits producers, consumers, and suppliers while also attracting international investment. The initiative underscores India's potential as a global economic leader, supported by its young and educated workforce.
Using advanced technology like a 270-degree screen and holographic displays, the centre educates visitors on India’s logistics and transportation initiatives. PM Gati Shakti integrates infrastructure projects across ministries, ensuring seamless connectivity, improved last-mile logistics, and reduced travel time, fostering economic growth and development.
