Rays Power Infra announces completion of 150 MW grid connected solar


Rays Power Infra, a solar developer based in Rajasthan, announced the completion of a 150 megawatt (MW) grid-connected solar power plant in Raichur and Koppal, Karnataka.

According to the official press release, the project would save 156,400 tonnes of CO2 per year and generate 240,000 MW of green energy.

The company has also begun the execution of 500 MW of solar energy, with commissioning expected in the next nine months, to offset the power requirements of consumers in India and abroad, according to the release.

It said that out of this 500 MW, 220 MW would be developed in India, and the remaining 280 MW will add to the brand's international portfolio. It is also developing 2x900 MW solar parks in Rajasthan, which will be utilised for setting up utility-scale and C&I projects.
