The contract is categorised as a "works" order, and RailTel has clarified that neither the company’s promoter group nor any related parties have a direct interest in the awarding entity.

RailTel emphasised that this milestone reflects its growing portfolio in deploying advanced surveillance technologies aimed at improving passenger safety and operational efficiency. The disclosure also included details as mandated by SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, ensuring compliance and transparency.

The announcement was made by Jasmeet Singh Marwah, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, who confirmed the approval of the disclosure by the company’s senior executive team.
