PWD to Float Tenders for DPRs of 8 Greenfield Expressways

The Public Works Department (PWD) of Rajasthan is set to float tenders for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for eight new greenfield expressways across the state. This initiative is part of a larger plan to enhance road infrastructure and improve connectivity in the region.

The proposed expressways aim to facilitate faster and more efficient transportation, linking key industrial, commercial, and tourist hubs. These projects are expected to reduce travel time, boost economic activities, and support the state's overall development goals.

The tenders will be issued shortly, and the selected firms will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys, environmental impact assessments, and other technical evaluations required for the DPRs. Once the reports are prepared, the government will proceed with the next phases of planning and construction.

These expressways are anticipated to play a significant role in transforming Rajasthan's road network, contributing to the state's growth by improving access to remote areas, enhancing trade routes, and supporting tourism. The initiative aligns with the state's vision of developing world-class infrastructure to support its economic ambitions.
