Punjab's minister meets Gadkari to improve border road infra


Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Minister of Rural Development for Punjab, met with Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Transport, talk about the improvement of the road system in the state's border regions.

The building and improvement of two crucial highways in the border regions of the Amritsar district had received approval from the Union Ministry of Road Transport.

Under the Central Road Fund, it has been permitted to build the Ghonewala Ramdass Road to Gulgarh Road from close to Dhusi Band along the Ravi river as well as the Ajnala-Fatehgarh Churian-Ramdas Road in the border block of Ajnala.

About 100 communities were harmed since these two routes weren't developed. According to the Punjab Minister, the project's completion will significantly accelerate the growth of this region.
