Patrick Bridger joins Blastcrete as Business development manager
Blastcrete Equipment, a prominent global leader in the manufacturing of concrete pumping, gunite, and wet shotcrete equipment, is delighted to introduce Patrick Bridger as their newly appointed Business Development Manager. In his role, Bridger will collaborate closely with the Blastcrete team to provide unwavering support to both new and existing customers, aiding them in finding tailored solutions for their specific concrete pumping and wet/dry process shotcrete applications.

Hailing from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Patrick Bridger brings a wealth of experience spanning over 35 years in the shotcrete industry. His journey began as an Operations Manager for a shotcrete company, which led him to Alabama, where he operated from the Blastcrete Equipment facility and was first introduced to the company's shotcrete equipment solutions. Subsequently, Bridger transitioned into a role with a contracting company, gaining hands-on experience in the refractory installation business. Most recently, he served as the General Manager and Business Development Manager for another shotcrete equipment manufacturer, focusing on establishing and nurturing relationships with customers in tunnelling, mining, concrete repair, and refractory installation industries.
Notably, in 1998, Patrick Bridger played a pivotal role in the creation of the American Shotcrete Association (ASA) alongside other industry professionals. His dedication to the ASA extended for more than 12 years, during which he served as Secretary, Vice President, and President. One of his significant contributions was the development of the first shotcrete nozzleman certification program, which encompassed a comprehensive guidebook, training, a written exam, and a performance exam, setting a standard for industry professionals.
Reflecting on his extensive experience, Bridger emphasised his unwavering commitment to customers, stating, "My commitment through all these years has been to the customers. The customers make our business, and I strive to keep that in mind while I?m serving the community, whether that?s through my current position or in my role as a member of the ASA. I?ve had a lot of people reach out, congratulating me on the new position. Some even mentioned they saw the move coming and are saying 'finally.' I?m looking forward to working with the Blastcrete team."
