Paras RailTech bags contract of track work for Delhi Metro Pink Line

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has awarded Paras Railtech a contract worth Rs. 676.7 million to supply and install standard gauge tracks for the Delhi Metro's Pink Line (Line-7) Extension.

Longjian-KEC JV is extending the city's Pink Line in the Delhi Metro Phase 4 project from Maujpur to Majlis Park by 12.375 km. They were awarded the Rs 10.80 billion civil construction contract for Package DC-02 in November 2019, with a 30-month completion deadline.

DMRC issued a request for bids in May 2022 for its track-work contract, which was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and had an undetermined cost and a 730-day (2-year) deadline. When the technical proposals were opened in July, three bidders were identified: Paras Railtech, Apurvakriti Infrastructure, and Rahee Infratech.
