Nitish Kumar Unveils Rs 8,837 Crore Rural Infrastructure Projects


Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of rural infrastructure projects worth over Rs 8,837 crore. These projects, including the construction of rural roads and bridges, are set to improve the transportation network across the state. During a virtual ceremony held at his official residence in Patna, CM Kumar emphasized the importance of maintaining rural roads and bridges, urging the Rural Works Department (RWD) officials to ensure timely completion and high-quality execution of these projects.

The total number of projects inaugurated amounts to 6,199, which are designed to significantly enhance rural connectivity. CM Kumar also stressed the need for regular inspection and continuous maintenance to preserve the quality and durability of these infrastructure assets.

The event was attended by key officials, including RWD Minister Ashok Kumar Choudhary, Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, and other senior state government representatives. This initiative is expected to create long-term benefits for Bihar's rural areas by improving infrastructure and facilitating better connectivity for local residents.
