NBCC to redevelop projects worth Rs 100 billion in Goa


NBCC (India) will undertake development and redevelopment projects in Goa valued at approximately Rs 100 billion. The projects will be executed in phases.

The initial phase includes six projects worth over Rs 17 billion. These developments span a total plot area of around 53,000 square meters, with a built-up area of approximately 1,85,000 square meters.

NBCC will develop key commercial and administrative spaces, including: - Junta House on 18th June Road and Government Garage on M.G. Road, Panjim - An administrative building at Porvorim - A circuit house and hotel at Altinho - Commercial and residential spaces for government quarters at St. Inez - A mini convention centre at Tiswadi Patto

Additionally, NBCC will conduct a feasibility study for the redevelopment of the Vasco bus stand.

The Goa government will retain a portion of the built-up area from these projects after covering the project costs. NBCC will also act as the project management consultant (PMC) for other development initiatives where the state government provides funding. (ET)
