Nawgati Receives MeitY Scale-Up Grant to Enhance Fueling Infra
Nawgati, an Indian fuel aggregator startup, has been awarded the esteemed MeitY Scale-Up Grant under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's MeitY Startup Hub (MSH). This grant, exclusive to MeitY TIDE 2.0 holders, was given to Nawgati following its successful incubation with the PIED Society at BITS Pilani. It will play a crucial role in scaling the company's innovative hardware technology, Aaveg, a congestion and compliance monitoring system.
Nawgati first received support from the MeitY TIDE 2.0 scheme during its ideation phase while the co-founders were still students at BITS Pilani. The new Scale-Up Grant represents a significant milestone in the company’s development, helping it expand and refine its groundbreaking solutions.
"The MSH Scale-Up Grant is a crucial step for Nawgati as we continue to enhance our hardware for congestion and compliance monitoring," said Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO and Co-founder of Nawgati. "The support from MeitY Startup Hub has been instrumental, not only financially but also in providing exposure at national events across India."
With the rapid growth of fueling networks across India, managing efficiency and minimising congestion has become a pressing priority. Nawgati’s Aaveg system integrates advanced hardware and software to optimise fuel station operations, reduce waiting times, and improve compliance tracking. The grant will enable further refinement of the technology to support Nawgati’s ambitious expansion plans.
In addition to funding, MeitY Startup Hub has provided Nawgati with vital exposure and networking opportunities, aiding the company in developing solutions tailored to the industry’s evolving needs. Looking forward, Nawgati is committed to transforming India’s fueling infrastructure and improving user experience across the country.
