MMRDA Issues Tender for Mumbai Metro Line 4 Trackwork


The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has released a tender for the construction and commissioning of ballastless trackwork for Line 4 of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project. This ambitious project will span from Bhakti Park (ch: -550.000 meters) to Mulund Fire Station (ch: 18929.611 meters), including the siding tracks at Bhakti Park Station and a pocket track between Sonapur and Mulund Fire Station.

The comprehensive scope of work includes the design, construction, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the trackwork. The project, valued at Rs 2.24 billion, is set to be completed within 24 months of commencement.

Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by the due date of September 12, 2024. The tender marks a significant step forward in expanding Mumbai's metro network, enhancing connectivity and easing commuter congestion in the bustling metropolis.
