Ministry of Coal Concludes Phase 1 of Rashtriya Karmayogi Program


The Ministry of Coal (MoC) has successfully completed Phase 1 of the Large-Scale Intervention (LSI) under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Program, aimed at fostering a spirit of service (Seva Bhav) among officials up to the Director level. Over 120 officials participated in four interactive training sessions designed to strengthen their commitment to public service and nation-building. 

Shri B.P. Pati, Joint Secretary & CBU Head, inaugurated the program, emphasizsng the crucial role of public service in shaping the nation's future. He highlighted that the initiative is not just about skill enhancement but a reaffirmation of officials' responsibility to drive meaningful change and improve citizens' lives. 

The training sessions, held on February 27-28 and March 11-12 at the Civil Services Officers Institute, New Delhi, focused on policy formulation, service delivery, and citizen-centric governance. Led by Master Trainers Shri Sudheer Babu Motana and Shri Ram Kumar, and facilitated by Shri Uzair Simnani (Capacity Building Commission), the sessions provided valuable insights into aligning individual roles with national priorities. 

In the valedictory session, Shri Bijoy Samanta, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Coal, commended the participants for their active engagement and commitment to professional growth. He emphasised that the program had instilled a stronger sense of responsibility toward public service and good governance. 

With Phase 1 successfully completed, the Ministry of Coal remains committed to advancing the initiative, further equipping its officials with the skills, efficiency, and integrity required for effective governance.
