MHADA Plans 19,497 Housing Units in 2025-26
The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has set an ambitious target to construct 19,497 housing units across the state in the financial year 2025–26. This initiative, spanning Mumbai, Pune, Konkan, Nashik, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Nagpur, comes with a budgetary allocation of Rs 92 billion under its approved annual budget.
Major Budget Allocations and Key Projects MHADA recently revised its FY 2024–25 budget to Rs 109 billion and proposed a Rs 160 billion budget for FY 2025–26. Under this plan, Mumbai will see the construction of 5,199 housing units, backed by Rs 57 billion.
