MEIL wins contract to build Mongolia’s first oil refinery
The Mongol Refinery Project, which entails constructing the nation's first oil refinery, has been awarded to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL).
The EPC agreement states that MEIL will construct this new refinery in Mongolia.
With the aid of cutting-edge technology, MEIL will construct EPC-2 (Open Art Units, Utilities & Offsites, Plant Buildings) and EPC-3 (Captive Power Plants) in Mongolia for a total of USD 790 million. The project management consultant for this G2G partnership project is Engineers India Limited. The project is a component of the Ministry of External Affairs' Development Partnership Administration programme.
