Kundan Green Energy commissions Rs 75 Bn hydropower plant


Kundan Green Energy has commissioned its hydropower plant in Luni, Himachal Pradesh, adding 85 MW to its operational hydropower capacity.

Built at a cost of Rs 750 million, the project was awarded in September 2022 and completed within 24 months.

With this, the company’s total installed capacity, including solar and wind projects, now stands at 120.5 MW.

Udit Garg, Director & CEO of Kundan Green Energy, said, “We are delighted to present the Luni HEP project to the country.

It once again demonstrates our commitment to speed, quality, and technology. Kundan Green Energy already operates four hydropower plants in Sikkim, and three more are under construction.
