Kumaraswamy Inaugurates Hot Gas Project


At a public meeting in Bokajan, Kumaraswamy inaugurated the hot gas utilisation project in the cement factory’s raw mills, aiming to boost efficiency and sustainability. He highlighted the district’s untapped natural resources and urged the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) to expand its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts towards reducing unemployment and promoting skill development.

During the meeting, critical issues such as upgrading the Bokajan cement factory, pollution control, and improving infrastructure at the local Kendriya Vidyalaya were discussed. CCI CMD Sanjay Verma shared a three-year plan to upgrade the factory’s industrial equipment and emphasized employing local labour to boost the regional economy.

Kumaraswamy also laid the foundation for a 1-MW grid-connected solar PV plant, aligning with India's renewable energy goals, and assured that the region's potential would be harnessed for the benefit of its residents.
