KSRTC Seeks Approval for New Bus Services

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has requested approval to launch new bus services connecting Mangaluru and Karkala, addressing increasing public demand for better transportation options between the two towns. The proposal aims to enhance connectivity and improve the travel experience for daily commuters, students, and tourists.

The Mangaluru-Karkala route is expected to reduce travel time and provide a more accessible and affordable mode of transport, especially for those who rely on private vehicles or other forms of transport. The new bus services will also support regional development by improving access to economic, educational, and tourism hubs in the area.

KSRTC’s plan is a part of its ongoing efforts to expand its network and meet the growing demands of the public. If approved, the bus services will be a welcome addition to the region’s public transport infrastructure, facilitating smoother, more efficient travel.

The approval request follows several representations from the public, highlighting the need for better road transport options. This initiative is expected to strengthen the state’s public transportation system and support sustainable mobility.
