KSRTC launches cargo services

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has ventured into cargo services, diversifying its operations beyond passenger transport. This strategic initiative is designed to utilise the state's transportation infrastructure for cargo logistics, creating a new avenue for businesses and enhancing the efficiency of goods movement within Karnataka.

The introduction of cargo services by KSRTC is likely to facilitate businesses in transporting goods across the state in a reliable and organised manner. By leveraging the existing road transport network, the corporation aims to contribute to the seamless movement of goods, addressing the logistical needs of industries and businesses in Karnataka.

This expansion aligns with the evolving role of state transport corporations, positioning them not only as providers of passenger services but also as key players in the logistics and cargo transportation sector. The move is expected to enhance connectivity, reduce transit times, and support the overall economic activities within the state.
