JSW Energy Surpasses 10 GW Capacity, Achieves Record Growth in FY2025

JSW Energy Limited has achieved a historic milestone by adding 3.6 GW of generation capacity in FY2025, marking the highest annual capacity addition in the company's history. With this expansion, JSW Energy's total installed generation capacity now stands at 10.9 GW, surpassing its 10 GW target for FY2025.

The company's growth was driven by 1.3 GW of organic wind capacity additions and 1.8 GW from the acquisition of KSK Mahanadi Power Ltd. Notably, 2.8 GW of operational capacity was added in the fourth quarter alone, reinforcing JSW Energy’s commitment to energy security and renewable energy expansion.

Sharad Mahendra, Joint Managing Director & CEO, JSW Energy, stated, "This milestone reflects our strong execution capabilities and strategic approach to acquisitions.

Surpassing 10 GW is a significant step in our long-term vision to achieve 20 GW capacity well before 2030. We remain focused on delivering reliable, affordable, and sustainable power to support India’s energy transition."
